Colleen Weiss

Colleen is a Senior International Scholar Adviser for ISSO Morningside and Manhattanville. In her role, she provides documentation and advising services to the scholar community belonging to these campuses. She also assists academic departments in bringing international faculty and researchers to the university, facilitates the orientation programs for J-1 scholars, and provides workshops and one-on-one training for department staff members. She finds the opportunity to support Columbia’s international faculty & researchers truly rewarding.

Prior to joining Columbia, Colleen held various positions within the Exchange Visitor Sponsorship team at the Institute of International Education. She  holds an M.A. in International Education from New York University and a B.A. from the University at Buffalo. 

In her free time, Colleen enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, paddling––generally any outdoor activity.
