  1. Pay attention to your I-20 program end date

    • If you want to continue at ALP, request an extension with Tomasz before I-20 program end date.

    • If you’re leaving ALP before program end date, email Tomasz that you are leaving.

    • Leave the U.S. before the end of your grace period (you have 60 days to remain in the U.S. in F-1 status after your I-20 program end date when you complete your program).

  2. Travel with the correct documents

    • You are allowed to travel within the country and abroad but have the correct documents with you.

    • A travel signature on page 2 of your I-20 is valid for 12 months or until the program end date on the I-20, whichever comes first.

      • Come to us if you need a travel signature.

      • It cannot expire before the date you return to the U.S.
