Located at Maimonides Park right off the Coney Island boardwalk, a Cyclones game delivers fast-paced action, fan-friendly entertainment, fireworks, and the best views in Minor League Baseball. Bring the whole family, grab a hot dog, and root for the home team as they knock it out of the park. The team's history and connection to Coney Island make it a unique and popular part of the Brooklyn sports scene.
Itinerary:
- 4:15pm: Meet near ISSO Morningside
- 4:30pm: Charter bus departs
- 5:40pm: Baseball stadium opens
- 6:40pm: First pitch
- 10:00pm (approximate): Fireworks
- 11:00pm: Depart from Maimonides Park
- 12:00am (approximate): Arrive back to ISSO Morningside
For the discounted price of $5 per person, ISSO will provide each participant with roundtrip bus transportation and one ticket to the Brooklyn Cyclones game, which includes a Cyclones hat and 2 drink tickets (redeemable for beer/ hard seltzer or fountain soft drinks). Alcohol consumption is not required and ISSO encourages participants who do choose to drink to do so responsibly.
Due to the popularity of this event, participation will be determined by a lottery system. International students or scholars who are accompanied by a spouse/partner and/or children may request up to three tickets. Spouses or partners may also directly enter the lottery. All other international students or scholars may request ONLY one (1) ticket.
Lottery winners will be informed on Mon. June 30 and will have until 11:59PM on Wed. July 2 to complete BOTH payment and a required form. After this deadline, unclaimed tickets will be forfeited and offered directly by ISSO to waitlisted participants. All tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
