ISSO International Faculty & Researcher Coffee Hour

May 4, 2026
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
America/New_York
Armstrong Hall, 545 W. 112 St., New York, NY 10027 ISSO 4th Floor

Are you an international CU faculty member, researcher, postdoc, staff or trainee? Are you looking to meet peers and make new scholar friends across different schools and departments? Join ISSO's monthly morning "coffee hour" to help build connections and community with fellow CU colleagues!

We invite you to stop in the Morningside ISSO at Armstrong Hall to have a coffee or tea and breakfast treats to start your day! Come and go as your schedule allows during these open house times, to mingle with colleagues. International faculty, scholars, researchers, postdocs, staff, and trainees from all Columbia campuses are welcome!

Starting at 9AM, use your ID to enter the building, then come upstairs to join us in the conference room on the 4th floor.

RSVP if you can, otherwise feel free to just stop by!

**DURING THIS MONTHLY MEETING, THE ISSO COMMUNICATIONS TEAM WILL BE FILMING OPTIONAL SCHOLAR INTERVIEWS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA. If you decide that you would like to participate, please inform ISSO staff as you arrive -- interview slots are first come, first served and take approximately 10 minutes. Interviewees will be asked about their research and daily activities, and the resulting video(s) will be shared with the wider ISSO community later this fall on Instagram. Please note that participation in this project is not required in order to attend the regular coffee hour.
