On June 3, ISSO hosted a “Q&A on Immigration Policy” webinar with immigration attorney Dan Berger.   • Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Preclearance allows travelers to undergo inspection at designated foreign airports prior to their arrival in the U.S. CBP has specialists stationed at 15 Preclearance locations in 6 countries: Dublin and Shannon in Ireland; Aruba; Bermuda; Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates; Nassau in the Bahamas; and Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg in Canada.
  • The Department of Homeland Security Traveler Redress Inquiry Program (DHS TRIP) is a single point of contact for individuals who have had difficulties during travel screenings at transportation hubs such as airports or U.S. borders. 
  • DHS Trusted Traveler Programs allow members to use expedited lanes at the U.S. airports, and when crossing international borders.
