ISSO Thanksgiving Dinner

Join International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO)  for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner!  Thanksgiving is a time to come together in gratitude, share a meal, and reflect on the people and moments we’re thankful for.

Also referred to as “Friendsgiving”, this program is a celebration of friendship and community that brings people together from near and far. Enjoy delicious food, great company, and the spirit of togetherness that makes this holiday so special!

This program is open to all international students, scholars, and families within the ISSO community. ISSO staff will travel together to the CUIMC campus from ISSO Armstrong Hall for anyone who is unfamiliar with the uptown campus. Participants are expected to join for the entire program:

5:30 p.m. Meet at ISSO Armstrong Hall, Morningside Campus* (*This is optional for those who want to travel together to the CUIMC campus. We will take the 1 train and everyone is responsible for their own MTA fare.) 

6:00 p.m. Arrive at 50 Haven Ballroom 

6:10 p.m. Thanks and appreciation - Dinner begins

8:00 p.m. Program concludes 

We ask that each student/scholar register individually with their own UNI. Only international students and scholars who have accompanying spouses/partners and/or children should request multiple tickets. Everyone else, please choose only 1 ticket. Children under 5 do not need a separate ticket. Please no non-CU guests for this event. Please reach out to the ISSO Programming Team with any questions. 

Registration opens Wednesday, November 4th. Space is limited. 

This event is hosted by ISSO and co-sponsored, with much appreciation, by the Columbia University Irving Medicat Center Office of Housing Services.
