ISSO Spouse/ Partner English Conversation (*IN-PERSON: UN Tour)

Are you the international spouse/ partner of a CU student or scholar? Are you looking to build English speaking confidence AND strong connections with other spouses/ partners in the ISSO community? During Spring 2026, join us weekly on Tuesday morning from 10-11:50am, between February 10 and the end of the semester. Most sessions are virtual, with one session per month held in person. Please note that there is NO session on Tuesday, March 10.

THIS SPECIAL SESSION WILL BE HELD IN-PERSON. This month, we will learn more about local history and culture by visiting the UN Headquarters for a guided tour. You will get an inside look into the General Assembly Hall and Security Council Chamber. Let's explore together to learn more and discuss!

Any CU international spouse/ partner who attends at least 1 virtual session in March will receive a special link for PRIORITY REGISTRATION and will be required to submit special documentation (ID) in advance. If extra tickets remain, an invitation will be sent to spouses/ partners who attended 1 previous virtual session.

 

Itinerary:

9:00am: Meet at ISSO Morningside (optional)

10:00am: Present ID at the Visitor Check-In Office (*required: please read the requirements)

11:00am - 12:00pm: U.N. Tour

**Participants are encouraged to continue exploring, or to make plans with each other for coffee/ lunch in the area.
