ISSO International Spouse/ Partner Resource Fair

Come join us for a Resource Fair specifically for spouses and partners of Columbia’s international students and scholars! Whether you recently arrived to NYC, or just aim to connect with new friends to learn about valuable resources, ISSO will help you navigate your journey and make the most of your time here. Registration is open to accompanying family members of international students/ scholars from any CU campus (plus the sponsoring CU student/ scholar). 

 

What to Expect:

  • Introductions from ISSO staff and the International Spouse and Partners Network (ISPN), a welcoming community of your peers that gathers regularly for informal events
  • Information Booths from a variety of campus and community organizations offering resources on well-being, language support, community-building, and more.
  • Networking Opportunities with other spouses/partners from the Columbia community.
  • Free Resources, Giveaways, and Snacks/ Refreshments!

This is a great chance to find services, build connections, and gain insights to enhance your experience in NYC and at Columbia. Stop by for 10 minutes, 1 hour, or the entire time! This is an open-house style gathering for you to ask questions, find answers, and have fun.

Once on campus, please come to Carleton Commons at Mudd Hall. Carleton Commons, located on the campus level, is accessible from a sliding automatic door at the entrance of Mudd Hall. 

 

**Registration is required due to capacity limitations. Please coordinate with your spouse/ partner to make sure that all attending family members are only registered ONCE (no double registrations please).

This excursion is intended to promote organic community building amongst international accompanying family members of CU students and scholars. Registration is also open to students/ scholars who are joining their spouse/ partner or children at this event. If you do not fit this group, we ask you to refrain from registering. We thank you for your understanding.
