NGO Briefings by the United Nations Department of Public Information (UNDPI) are being made available to the international community at Columbia University as guests of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. The April 5th briefing is titled The Value of Peacekeeping: Stories from the Field.
Coordinators for the briefings will take RSVPs, arrange UN security passes for guests, meet as a group at the UN, and escort everyone into the room for the briefing. Afterwards, the coordinators will show Columbia guests where they can eat lunch at the UN (on their own), and visit the bookstore and gift shops.
