International Students Discuss: Brief Tender Light

April 12, 2024
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
America/New_York
Uris Hall, 3022 Broadway, New York, NY 10027 Room 142

As international students, we all have unique stories about our journeys abroad. However, regardless of where we are from, we all share similarities within our stories that help us relate to one another. By engaging in dialogue, we are able to discover those similarities and learn about the differences that make each of our stories unique. This is why we are inviting you to join us to watch and discuss the film Brief Tender Light.

Brief Tender Light is directed by a Ghanaian MIT alum, Arthur Musa, who will be joining us for the film screening! In the film, Arthur follows four African students at MIT as they navigate their new lives in the U.S. while striving to make positive change back home. Their experiences are relatable to many international students. After watching the film, you will have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with other international students, as well as have a Q&A session with the director!

This event is a partnership between the African Student Association, the African Development Group and ISSO.
