The ISSO and the Office of the Postdoctoral Affairs are co-sponsoring this initiative. This workshop focuses on academic integrity and the serious issue of plagiarism: what it looks like, its consequences, cross-cultural considerations and strategies for presenting others' ideas.

We take a close look at the mechanics of citing sources, and will explore and practice the key principles of paraphrasing. Presenter Nancy Boblett is a Teachers College instructor and has taught ESL/EFL for over 40 years in Spain and the U.S. Register here to reserve a place.
