Stacey E. DiMarino

Stacey is an International Student and Scholar Adviser for ISSO-CUIMC. In her role, she provides documentation and advising services to the international community of students, faculty and scholars belonging to Columbia’s medical campus. She has been with the ISSO since 2021.

Stacey is a dedicated international education professional and advocate. She is particularly passionate about mental health and intersectionality for international individuals in the U.S.

She holds an M.A. in International Educational Development from Columbia University’s Teachers College and a B.A. in East Asian Studies from SUNY Albany. Stacey has lived and studied in Japan, so she is well-versed in matters international students who plan to study abroad may face.

In her free time, Stacey continues to study multiple foreign languages.
She also enjoys traveling, conducting genealogy research, spoiling her cats, and caring far too much about her sports teams. Her favorite spot near campus is the Hungarian Pastry Shop.
