Avril Haines is the newly appointed Special Advisor to Columbia World Projects and the former Deputy Director fo the CIA and Deputy National Security Advisor in the Obama administration. Join Dean Merit E Janow and Professor Richard Betts, Arnold A. Saltzman Professor of War and Peace Studies, in a discussion about multilateral solutions to emerging global threats. Other topics will include major national security events from Avril's time in office, including the Iran deal and the succession of Kim Jong-Un, as well as the future of Columbia World Projects.
