The Office of University Life Events Council and the General Studies Student Council invite you to a screening of If Beale Street Could Talk—one of the top 10 films of 2018 chosen by both the National Board of Review and American Film Institute.The story follows a young African-American woman who, with her family's support, seeks to clear the name of her wrongfully charged love interest and prove his innocence before the birth of their child. Doors open at 6:30 pm for light refreshments; the screening will begin at 7:30 pm. Registration is required. Please bring your CUID.
