Hatha yoga fundamentals are taught at a slower pace, focusing on increasing flexibility through postures, breathing and relaxation/meditation techniques. A good introduction or reinforcement of yoga practice. RSVP is required. After you complete your registration, you'll receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom link, a waiver, and instructions for joining the event. This event is part of Columbia Welcome. To see other Columbia Welcome events, visit universitylife.columbia.edu/events. The classes include a variety of bodyweight exercises to improve cardiovascular and strength fitness which focuses on functional strength, core strength and posture. We suggest that you use a yoga mat for comfort while you perform these exercises.
