IS THIS THE END OF HONG KONG? At the heart of global finance and regional stability, a city under siege faces an uncertain future

October 29, 2020
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
America/New_York
International Affairs Building, 420 W. 118 St., New York, NY 10027
The new security law imposed by China has undermined Hong Kong’s autonomy and triggered prolonged protests, dampened only by the Covid-19 pandemic. Financial experts are divided over whether Hong Kong will be able to remain a global business hub, and security experts are concerned about the implications of Beijing’s increasingly aggressive posture in Asia. Join us for the first in a series of ISP Interdisciplinary Security Dialogues, bringing together students and faculty across concentrations to discuss major contemporary issues. This is an ONLINE EVENT - registrants will be sent a Zoom link via email.
